Hedgewitch Frog & Sole Saviour contains a blend of the highest quality essential oils, specially selected for their powerful antibacterial and antifungal properties to help maintain healthy tissue and reduce odour. Calendula infused sunflower oil provides a carrier for the esssential oils as well as soothing properties.

The oil-based formulation of Frog & Sole Saviour creates a thin, breathable film that adheres to the frog/sole surface, displacing surface water and organic matter. It stays in place in wet and muddy conditions, supporting hoof health in these challenging conditions. One of the advantages of Frog & Sole Saviour is that it is able to seep into difficult-to-access areas easily, such as the central sulcus of the frog, tiny cracks and crevices. 

Calendula oil aids soft-tissue comfort and conditioning when applied around the frog and heel bulbs, helping adjacent skin and soft horn to remain supple rather than macerated or overly dry, while the sunflower base helps to plasticise the very superficial horn, which can make mechanical cleaning and removal of necrotic material easier.

Frog & Sole Saviour can be applied to the sole to help maintain optimum health and hardness. By helping maintain the frog's and sole's integrity, it's helpful for horses that are transitioning to barefoot. Unlike traditional harsh sole hardening applications, Frog & Sole is very gentle.
