Aloe vera gel, Calendula (Calendula officinalis) infused in Helianthus annus oil, Lavender (Lavandula augustifolia) essential oil, Geman Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) essential oil, Peppermint (Mentha piperita) essential oil.
Avoid using on broken skin, Calendula & Yarrow is a better alternative. The aloe vera gel and essential oils are generally non-irritating and non-sensitising to the skin. However, essential oils do contain naturally occurring allergens in tiny quantities and we strongly recommend a small patch test before proceeding with general use, particularly for horses with a known history of allergies or sensitive skin.
Purchased for 2 of our ponies who sadly suffer with sweetitch. This is easy to apply! My Welsh A is funny with some lotions/creams but I find I'm able to rub this onto my hands and apply where needed with little reaction. The other pony doesn't mind at all. Clearly smells delicious as both seem to want to lick/eat it. Definitely calms where they've rubbed. Would buy again and recommend.
Absolutely loving these products. Have a 1/4 house with dreadful dry skin and between the oil and gel I have managed to keep her from rubbing herself bald. Fly Spray is pretty special too. A must try for horse owners.
Absolutely amazing. My horse had terribly dry skin and was rubbing a lot in his stable to the point he had baldness in places. Applying this gel daily soothed the area and gave great moisture to the skin - I could see the results in a matter of days. Also smelt incredible.
My wife uses this on a skin condition on her hand and she find it sooths and reduces the inflammation.
as ever it does what it says on the tin! How they formulate these amazing products is amazing, such quick results.
Since spring my horse has been itching his face around his eyes and cheek bones to the stage where he has no fur left. He usually doesn't like having his face touched, especially when it comes to applying medicines. Before Itchy Gel he would need to be wrestled whilst in giraffe-mode to get creams on his face. But with Itchy Gel he will stand at liberty and put his head down for the gel application. He loves it and I believe it is because it gives him relief from the itching. I keep it in the fridge so it is extra cool when it is applied to his face on a hot day.
Fantastic product, really works, nothing beats it. Easy to apply with results surprisingly quick. It really is like magic! Would very highly recommend.
I have some dark spots on my face and the serum seems to be lightening them already plus the lines around my eyes get a little less
We live in the Scottish Borders and plagued with midges and horse flies and I do mean plagued. We used it over the week with fabulous results . Going to try it on the dogs next we have one that can bring clouds of midges in with her
Lovely stuff. You can smell the real lavender oil in it. Also goes a lot further than cheaper alternatives. I like to hose off my boy then sponge wash with the lavender wash when he is sweaty after a ride.
A lovely smell, and leaves the coat soft. Helps against the flies too, so a bonus!
Excellent product. Really does what it says, softens hard skin within 2 or 3 days and then you can gently wipe away. My pony has got used to me applying it and stands quietly whilst it’s done. And everyone has commented on how wonderful it smells!
This product was brilliant and soothed my horses cleg bite which she'd rubbed badly.. it soon healed up within a few days..
Was pleasantly surprised that there was no strange smell with the spray. I usually get bitten quite badly if I am outside in the evening and get painful swelling where I have been bitten that can last for a couple of weeks.
Have only been using it for a short time and the weather has been really hot, but have had no allergic reaction to it and most importantly no bites when we have been taking our dogs out later in the evening due to the hot weather.
Smells glorious. I use it on the ponies manes and tails, and put a little on a grooming mitt and smooth over their body. It makes the tail easy to brush out. The ponies seem to enjoy me using the oil, my gelding had a big sniff of my hand, but seemed disappointed that there wasn't anything there to eat.
Great product, just wish you could make one which lasted longer than 8hrs then it would be perfect. We turn out over night in the summer by the morning they are getting hounded by flies again.
Hi Sally,
Many thanks for your feedback. I totally appreciate what you're suggesting. Unfortunately the only way we could make icaridin last longer would be to increase the % included above 20% but that is the highest rate we can legally use.

Have moved to spain and any place i go the suckers come out and find me, I forget to put on my incaridin or them pesky flies that also like to drink from me when the sun is cooling down or inside and this stuff really does help to relieve the itch. It smells pleasant and not overpowering and its nice and light that doesn't feel greasy on my skin.
