Aloe vera gel, Calendula (Calendula officinalis) infused in Helianthus annus oil, Lavender (Lavandula augustifolia) essential oil, Geman Chamomile (Matricaria recutita) essential oil, Peppermint (Mentha piperita) essential oil.
Avoid using on broken skin, Calendula & Yarrow is a better alternative. The aloe vera gel and essential oils are generally non-irritating and non-sensitising to the skin. However, essential oils do contain naturally occurring allergens in tiny quantities and we strongly recommend a small patch test before proceeding with general use, particularly for horses with a known history of allergies or sensitive skin.
Purchased for 2 of our ponies who sadly suffer with sweetitch. This is easy to apply! My Welsh A is funny with some lotions/creams but I find I'm able to rub this onto my hands and apply where needed with little reaction. The other pony doesn't mind at all. Clearly smells delicious as both seem to want to lick/eat it. Definitely calms where they've rubbed. Would buy again and recommend.
Absolutely loving these products. Have a 1/4 house with dreadful dry skin and between the oil and gel I have managed to keep her from rubbing herself bald. Fly Spray is pretty special too. A must try for horse owners.
Absolutely amazing. My horse had terribly dry skin and was rubbing a lot in his stable to the point he had baldness in places. Applying this gel daily soothed the area and gave great moisture to the skin - I could see the results in a matter of days. Also smelt incredible.
My wife uses this on a skin condition on her hand and she find it sooths and reduces the inflammation.
as ever it does what it says on the tin! How they formulate these amazing products is amazing, such quick results.
Brilliant stuff. Just finished my first bottle and starting on the second. I have a TB with poor feet and usually only get 5 weeks max before he needs re-shod. Using this hoof oil has changed this. He’s just gone 7 weeks and the nails haven’t risen. Only got him re shod as my nerves wouldn’t hold out. Definitely a game changer. Used every day without fail.
I Have to say i was surprised how quickly this worked on thrush , small amazing and did the job it needed too.
My 28 year old EMS mare suffers from thrush when the rain starts. So she started with thrush again a couple of weeks ago. I have tried several different solutions in the past but none have been as effective as Hedgewitch. There was a big improvement after just 3 days, she now only has one hoof showing very slight sign of thrush is present all the others are clear in only one week. I highly recommend Hedgewitch.
Perfect! Don’t like deet based products but this was perfect! Didn’t smell horrible and wasn’t oily/greasy!! But most importantly no ticks and horse flies took a wide berth when we were weeding!!!
So pleased with this fly spray. I have tried many fly sprays and this is by far the best and the only one that has any significant effect. I also recommend buying the spray nozzle as it ensures you get the maximum coverage with a fine mist
Absolutely brilliant product. Started using it on my horse as her hooves crack due to the heat. They look great, my farrier had been and gave her a good trim and her hooves look amazing.
Definitely recommend this product.
I already use the easy lift, itch gel and peppermint shampoo.
Love all the products because they're made from natural ingredients.I'm slowly building my collection up.
Pure magic in a bottle! I've been using this for the past 12 months and it beats all other insect repellents hands down. Watching horse flys looking to land on me or my horse, and then seem utterly confused and fly away is very pleasing!! As well as using the it on my mare, I also spray it on myself and unlike other repellents, it has no awful smell, and it doesn't make my sensitive skin come out in a rash, win, win win! Please don't ever stop making it!!
My horse has suffered from sweet itch quite bad this year, tried something from the vet and it never worked. (Forgotten the name) I was struggling what to do as he was rubbing his tail and mane badly. I used this stuff recommended by a friend, and it helped him loads and ordered some, its been amazing.
Since spring my horse has been itching his face around his eyes and cheek bones to the stage where he has no fur left. He usually doesn't like having his face touched, especially when it comes to applying medicines. Before Itchy Gel he would need to be wrestled whilst in giraffe-mode to get creams on his face. But with Itchy Gel he will stand at liberty and put his head down for the gel application. He loves it and I believe it is because it gives him relief from the itching. I keep it in the fridge so it is extra cool when it is applied to his face on a hot day.
Fantastic product, really works, nothing beats it. Easy to apply with results surprisingly quick. It really is like magic! Would very highly recommend.
Having used the orange and peppermint (which smells divine btw) I thought I'd give tge lavender oil a go. Again, as before, it smells fab and is so easy to use. I spray it on the manes and tails and the brush just glides through. I then spray some onto a cloth to give them that finished shine after grooming. Love the products, love the results!!
Love this… an all rounder for me ..with a divine relaxing smell
This product is a definate keeper. Cant rate it high enough.
Used to keep the mosquitoes at bay on holiday in Corfu, it worked very well. It required 100% coverage of exposed skin to be effective. Will use on all summer hikes in the UK.
